Spectra16 is a politician with very little experience. She is a ripe candidate for Third District Alderman or the first openly Atheist President of the United States of America. She has been on the campaign trail for six months and she has not yet approved by the FDA. She falls to the left on the political spectrum but when shaking hands and speaking at press conferences, she often contradicts herself in sarcasm.
Besides desecrating federal buildings with the SDS, her hobbies include sexual psychology, eclectic interior decorating, and overall, being pretentious. She writes poetry and short stories too, but who doesn’t? Her favorite hangout spots are piano lounges, stranger’s homes, and places that resemble State Street.
For being only 19, she has big dreams. She hopes to someday live in Soho, own a loft, write in a newspaper, eating nothing but chili, meet Ernest Hemingway in heaven, and have a good dental program.
As of late, her old man boyfriend has been taking her to bars and church. He’s an ex-steel toed boots wielding, chain-smoking, ex-transvestite who doesn’t care if he gets judged for dating someone my age. “If people say I’m having a midlife crisis, then I’ve been having one since I was 15.” Our relationship is best described by the hit song “Little Girls” by Oingo Boingo.
Most of Spectra16’s time is spent bettering her life, things such as school and work. She somehow finds plenty of time to shop and drink. Currently, you can find her roaming the soggy streets of Milwaukee in her Technicolor rain boots and taking day long naps with Phil. Her recent obsessions have been Sex in the City, Saul Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, and her black pumps and zebra print dress.
If confronted by Spectra16, avoid eye contact and do everything in your power to inflate her already jumbo-sized ego.
